Final Grade:

Bucum Jackson (Ice Cube) is a bounty hunter that has a dream. A dream to get out of the business of bounty hunting and into the field of private investigating. Reggie Wright (Mike Epps) has a dream that is to make enough money before Bucum has to come find him. When their paths finally cross, they stumble upon a Million dollar diamond heist. Bucum decides getting the diamonds back could be his big break into private investigating, so he teams up with Epps to help him find the diamonds. Epps, however is only truly interested in finding his wallet with the multi-million dollar winning lottery ticket that he lost at the scene of the crime
Overall the movie was unoriginal and horrible. Epps acted as though he was trying to be a Chris Tucker wannabe, which frankly does not work for him at all. The plot or lack there or was near pointless, and overall I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why anyone would agree to acting in such a sub-par movie. Epps and Ice Cube together did an ok job and their characters complimented each other, but it seemed like such a Rush Hour like rip off that I couldn’t really appreciate it. Looking back on All About the Benjamins, I realize it was really All About a Waste of Time.
